The course is aimed at practitioners who already have some exposure to software development, testing, or QA. Newcomers are welcome, but you’ll encounter advanced concepts quickly—so be prepared to invest extra study time. Our instructors offer supplemental guidance and resources to bring motivated beginners up to speed.
PLEASE NOTE: The ASQ has the following requirements for taking the CSQE exam.
8 Years of on-the-job experience in one or more of the areas of the Certified Software Quality Engineer Body of Knowledge.
3 *Years of on-the-job experience must be in a "Decision-making" position.
Candidates must have worked in a full-time, paid role.
*A "Decision-making" position is defined as the authority to define, execute, or control projects/processes and to be responsible for the outcome. This may or may not include management or supervisory positions.
The ASQ CSQE examination is offered during specific testing windows throughout the year. Typically, there are 4-6 testing windows annually.
